N'gou Bagayoko - Kulu CD (Digipak) (Preorder: Ships October 2, 2026)

For his debut album, this outstanding guitarist delivers a remarkable achievement. With a unique guitar style blending blues, swing, and the dance rhythms of his region known as ""Didadi,"" he crafts a subtle and striking production. Joined by three exceptional female singers with extraordinary voices and a selection of unusual instruments, he lays the foundation of a singular universe-soft and sensual, much like the long evenings of southern Mali. ""A major album... essential listening."" - Vibrations, Elisabeth Stoudmann ""Another gem released by Frikyiwa."" - Télérama FFF, Eliane Azoulay ""An album that will leave it's mark."" - Mondomix, Benjamin Minimum ""A graceful guitarist, increasingly rare today."" - Africultures, Gérald Arnaud
